There is no side-wind in a track dome, so why use the same rims for in- & outdoors? We don't.

Track rims require a different approach than Road rims. There is hardly any air movement (beside that of the rider) when compared to the erratic air on the outdoor roads. So, the T's are designed to have the best aero performance at a 0° yaw angle.
